Cover Letter（投稿信）是论文投稿时与编辑的第一道沟通。很多作者把Cover Letter当作"走流程"，随便写两句话，实际上它是影响编辑是否送审的关键因素之一。
一、Cover Letter的作用
编辑每天要处理几十甚至上百篇投稿，Cover Letter就是你的"电梯演讲"——用最短的时间告诉编辑：
- 这篇文章研究了什么
- 为什么适合这个期刊
- 有什么创新性和重要性
- 没有利益冲突、一稿多投等问题
二、Cover Letter的标准结构
第1部分：投稿信息（开头）
Dear Editor [或具体编辑姓名],
I am writing to submit our manuscript entitled "[论文标题]" for consideration as an [Article/Review] in [期刊名].
第2部分：研究概述（核心）
用3-5句话概述你的研究：背景→方法→核心发现→意义。注意不要直接复制摘要，要用更通俗的语言。
In this study, we investigated [研究问题] using [方法] in [研究对象/样本]. Our results demonstrate that [核心发现，含1-2个关键数据]. These findings reveal [科学意义], which could have important implications for [应用领域].
第3部分：创新性声明
明确指出这篇论文的创新点，让编辑快速判断文章的价值。

第4部分：合规声明（必须包含）

- 说明为何选这个期刊："We believe this work aligns well with the scope of [期刊名]"
- 避免自吹自擂："groundbreaking"、"revolutionary"这种词慎用
- 推荐2-3位审稿人：减轻编辑找审稿人的负担
- 检查拼写和语法：Cover Letter有错别字，编辑会对论文质量打问号
- 以PDF格式提交：确保格式不会乱
编辑建议：Cover Letter不是写给你自己的，是写给编辑的。站在编辑的角度想：ta需要快速判断这篇文章值不值得送审。你给的信号越清晰，ta的决定越快。
